SYNOPSIS
While implants offer many substantial patient benefits, complications can occur. This presentation will describe and illustrate the most common complications that occur with single crowns and fixed partial dentures as well as identify the causes, how the complications can be prevented or minimized, and how they can be managed when they occur.
This Presentation will include the following key topics:
Identification of the most common complications Presentation of which complications have decreased over time and which ones have increased
Discussion of methods used to prevent/minimize prosthetic complications and thereby improve clinical success
